Diana Grigera is a bicultural therapist in Charlottesville, Virginia. She grew up in the area and always knew she would end up in the helping profession since she is passionate about working with clients to overcome obstacles and cultivate their inner strengths. She believes that seeking support offers a possibility towards meaningful change. She is dedicated to creating a warm and collaborative therapeutic environment, working with clients to explore and better understand their needs, while building skills for personal growth.
She moved to Argentina to study Clinical Psychology, specializing both in Early Childhood Development and Systemic Family Therapy. This led her to gain professional experiences in the educational and clinical fields, in organizations promoting mental health working with children and in a private practice serving adults, couples and families.
She then moved back to Charlottesville where she continues to work to promote mental health. Recently, she has worked as a community based counselor with a local organization that provides intensive-in-home services for children, parents and families.
These days, she’s actively involved in the community and does effective work at Rational Therapeutics delivering compassionate and empirically validated therapeutic interventions to adults, couples and children. All therapeutic work is supervised directly by J. Nile Wagley, PLC.
